  3. How do I remove Group admins or Team Managers from a group or subgroup?

What happens when a group admin or team manager leaves all their groups or subgroups?

The essence of Group Admins and Team Managers is to manage groups or subgroups. Without them they can do very little (only create and edit courses but not manage users).

So, if a Group Admin or Team Manager leaves (or is removed from) all their groups:

  1. Access Remains: they can still log in and create or edit courses.

  2. Limited Permissions: They will not have the ability to manage users or access metrics. To get these rights back, another admin needs to assign them management rights for a group or subgroup.

  3. Leaving Groups: When they leave a group, they automatically leave all subgroups linked to that group.
