What happens when I dissociate courses or learning paths from a subgroup?

  • Students in the Subgroup: All students in the subgroup currently enrolled in the courses or learning paths will lose access. They can regain access only if an admin reassigns the course or invites the student directly to participate again.

  • Group Admins and Team Managers: Any group admins or team managers will lose management rights over that course or learning path, including progress information.

  • Owner and General Admins: All progress information, including completion certificates, will still be visible to general admins and the owner (company-level admins). The courses or learning paths will be marked as “Not visible”.

  • And if the same course is also associated to the parent group? When a course or learning path is associated both with a subgroup and its parent group (container group), when you dissociate it from the subgroup it does not automatically remove it from the parent group.
