How do course and learning path associations work between groups and subgroups?
A. When an admin links a course or learning path to a group
that course or learning path is not automatically associated to its subgroups (subgroup level). As a result:
All students within that group and its subgroups will have access to it automatically.
That Group admins will be able to edit it and track student progress. Subgroup admins will not be able to:
edit the course or
view how the students within their subgroup are progressing in that course or learning path, unless that course or learning path is later associated directly to their subgroup or shared with them by another admin.
B. When an admin links a course or learning path to a subgroup
that course or learning path is not automatically associated to the parent group. As a result:
Only the students in that specific subgroup will have access to the content.
Both group and subgroup admins will be able edit it and track student progress.
