What happens when an admin creates a new course or learning path?

The visibility and management rights of the course or learning path depend on who creates it:

A. If the Owner or a General Admin creates it:

The course or learning path will be:

• Visible and manageable by all Owners and General Admins.

• Not visible to Group Admins or Team Managers. They will gain management rights only if one of the following two happens:

  • The course is directly shared with them (go to Users Page > Admins tab > click "Share course" or "Share learning paths").

  • The course is associated with a group they manage.

B. If a Group Admin creates it:

The course or learning path will be:

• Visible and manageable by all Owners and General Admins.

• Not visible to other Group Admins or Team Managers. They will gain management rights only if one of the following two happens:

  • The course is directly shared with them (go to Users Page > Admins tab > click "Share course" or "Share learning paths").

  • The course is associated with a group they manage.
